LawWithoutWalls ConPosium
University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL
On April 14, Jay Mussman served as a judge at the annual LawWithoutWalls (LWOW) ConPosium, presented by the University of Miami School of Law held at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. LWOW is a team-based part virtual executive education program for practicing and aspiring lawyers to create innovations at the intersection of law, business and tech; hone in on 21st century professional service skills desired by clients; and transform relationships between lawyers and clients. The process occurs in three phases over four months with teams comprised of approximately seven to ten people.
At the ConPosium, LWOW teams present their Projects of Worth—solutions to problems in legal education and practice across a broad spectrum of topics. Each Project of Worth is assessed by a multidisciplinary panel of judges, including venture capitalists, lawyers, academics, entrepreneurs and business professionals. Judges assess the projects based on substance, creativity, viability, presentation style, business case and other categories. Additionally, audience members voice their opinions through live chat and real-time voting.
