Beth Barton Speaks at Tri-State Diversity Council Symposium

Day Pitney partner Elizabeth C. Barton was a panel participant at the 2013 Connecticut Women in Leadership Symposium on March 6, 2013, held by the Tri-State Diversity Council. The theme for the symposium was "Women Leaders as Architects of Change"; there were companion events in New York on March 7th and in New Jersey on March 8th at which Day Pitney partners were also presenters. The sessions provided attendees with valuable insight gained from female executives' experiences, along with a chance to network. Beth discussed "Perceptions of Assertive Women," while other speakers addressed, "Hints to Maintain Your Value During Shaky Economic Times," "Establishing Credibility In The Workplace," "Winning at the Game of Office Politics," and "Cross Cultural Leadership: Women Bridging the Racial Divide."
