On September 24, 2014, Day Pitney hosted a kickoff meeting for the newly formed South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey (SABANJ) Women's Committee. A number of South Asian female attorneys from around New Jersey attended the event, including Day Pitney attorney and SABANJ Secretary, Rasika Chakravarthy. The guest of honor was Jin Hwang, President-Elect of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).
