On March 14, 2014, Day Pitney sponsored The Women of Tri-County 2014 Awards Luncheon, which honored five women of exceptional character and abilities, including Marjorie A. Perry, President and CEO of MZM Construction and Management Company, Inc., one of the largest women minority owned construction businesses in New Jersey, as well as Anna Maria Tejada, Esq., the President of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey. Day Pitney attorneys Christopher Stracco, Mark Morgan, Adriana Castellanos, Andres Acebo, Sylvia-Rebecca Gutierrez, Andres Mayor, Brian Disler and Rachel Gonzalez attended this event, together with Day Pitney's guests, two former Presidents of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, Marco Gonzalez and Suzette Rodriguez. The event benefitted the Tri-County Scholarship Fund whose mission is to raise money to provide financial support to deserving and economically disadvantaged children in Morris, Passaic, and Sussex Counties of New Jersey so they can obtain a values-centered education through accredited K-12 private elementary and secondary schools.
