Developer Proposes 68-acre Mixed-Use Project at Miami-Dade UDB line

Day Pitney Land Use Partner Steven J. Wernick and Land Use Counsel Joseph Ruiz were featured in the South Florida Business Journal article "Developer Proposes 68-acre Mixed-Use Project at Miami-Dade UDB line."

The article highlights the proposal by Grupo Apolo and Sanbar Corp for Kendall Reserve, a transformative 68.5-acre mixed-use development creating a work-live-play anchor in West Kendall. The project's bold vision includes a main street destination retail and dining district, integrated housing, family-friendly green space, and an office campus bringing jobs to an area of Miami-Dade County where residents experience long commute times.

Recognizing the importance of responsible growth, Kendall Reserve also includes a conservation area with acres of preserved wetlands and a publicly-accessible boardwalk celebrating the natural beaty of Florida's landscape.
Wernick and Ruiz commented on Grupo Apolo's bold vision and the approval process ahead.
