Day Pitney Partner Naju Lathia Named to NJBIZ 2026 Forty Under 40 Awards List

Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that Naju R. Lathia has been selected for inclusion on the 2026 NJBIZ Forty Under 40 Awards list. Lathia, previously a prosecutor with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Division of Criminal Justice – Financial and Computer Crimes Unit, is a White Collar and Commercial Litigation Partner in Day Pitney’s New Jersey office. Honorees will be presented with their awards at a ceremony on October 27 at The Marigold in Somerset, New Jersey.

In her practice, Lathia leads sensitive internal and white-collar investigations and defends clients facing state and federal investigations and charges. She also assists clients in a broad spectrum of complex commercial disputes, including utility, telecommunications, contract, trade secrets, construction, and franchise matters in state and federal court. She also has experience defending employers against allegations of discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Lathia is the Co-Chair of the Law Partners Section of the South Asian Bar Association (SABA) of North America. She is a 2023 Fellow of the SABA Leadership Institute and a 2023 recipient of its Rising Star Award (click here for SABA North America methodology). Lathia was chosen as SABA-NJ's 2022 Young Lawyer of the Year (click here for SABA NJ methodology), one of the "2021 New Leaders of the Bar" by the New Jersey Law Journal (click here for New Jersey Law Journal methodology), and was a 2018 recipient of Day Pitney's Coleman Award for outstanding pro bono work. Lathia earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Rutgers University. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

An independent panel of judges selects NJBIZ Forty Under 40 honorees after an open nomination process based on their business accomplishments, volunteerism, education, and additional honors.
