Day Pitney Bolsters Consumer Finance & Creditors' Rights Practice with Counsel Casey Sieck

Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that Casey Sieck has joined the firm as Counsel in its Consumer Finance & Creditors' Rights practice, based in the Boston office. With over a decade of experience across both the public and private sectors, Sieck brings deep knowledge of commercial litigation, banking, real estate, and financial services regulation. Her broad insight into federal and state oversight frameworks strengthens the firm's ability to advise banks, non-bank lenders, mortgage servicers, and other financial institutions navigating today's complex and highly regulated environment.

At Day Pitney, Sieck will focus her practice on representing financial institutions, government agencies, and commercial clients in matters involving regulatory compliance, loan enforcement, and litigation in both state and federal courts. She will also advise on loan origination and liquidation, administrative law, bankruptcy, ethics compliance, and complex commercial and real estate litigation.

Before joining the firm, Sieck served as Area I Counsel for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), where she led a legal team supporting 13 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She directed legal strategy in more than 2,100 PPP loan forgiveness appeals and 1,000 bankruptcy cases, managed loan originations and financings in Massachusetts, and served as the office's ethics official. She continues to contribute nationally as a member of the SBA's Environmental Committee. Earlier in her career, she practiced privately with a focus on litigation, real estate, and bankruptcy. In addition, Sieck is an active speaker in the legal and lending communities, regularly presenting on SBA lending, environmental compliance, and loan servicing at national industry conferences.

Sieck is the fourth senior attorney to join Day Pitney's Boston office in recent months, following Counsel John C. Serio and Boston-based Partners Dr. Christopher Cowles and Dr. Richard Emmons. Her arrival reflects the firm's continued strategic expansion within Boston's dynamic legal market.

In addition to her legal practice, Sieck serves on the Board of Directors of the Government Center Childcare Corporation, a nonprofit organization supporting early childhood education in the Boston area. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Colby College. Sieck is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
