Daily Business Review Recognizes Manuel Garcia-Linares and Andrew Ingalls in its 2026 Florida Legal Awards

Day Pitney is proud to announce that two of the firm’s Florida-based partners have been recognized at the 2026 Florida Legal Awards from the Daily Business Review. Manuel A. Garcia-Linares, Florida Offices Managing Partner and Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, was named a finalist for “Managing Partner of the Year” (Large and Midsize Firm), and Miami Partner Andrew Ingalls was honored as an “On the Rise” winner (Large & Midsize Firms). 

According to the publication, the Florida Legal Awards recognize exceptional professionals across a wide range of practice areas who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and meaningful impact within Florida’s legal community. Garcia-Linares’s recognition marks the second consecutive year he has been named a finalist for Managing Partner of the Year (Large and Midsize Firm). In addition to serving as Florida Offices Managing Partner, he chairs the firm’s Litigation Department and the Florida Business Development Committee and plays an active role in firmwide initiatives. In his practice, he advises clients on complex commercial and business litigation, including cross-border disputes, officer and director liability matters, real estate litigation, probate and trust disputes, professional malpractice (legal and accounting), and class actions. A licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida, Garcia-Linares brings a multidisciplinary perspective on client matters. He earned his B.A. from the University of Miami and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Tulane University, and is admitted to practice in Florida. 

Ingalls, an “On the Rise” (Large & Midsize Firms) honoree, is recognized for his professional accomplishments, leadership, and contributions to the legal community. He represents clients in sophisticated litigation matters in state, appellate, and federal courts and is known for his strategic, results-driven approach to resolving complex disputes. His experience spans a wide range of matters, including fraud, real property disputes, class action defense, breach of contract, improper debt collection, and wrongful foreclosure. Ingalls has handled all phases of litigation, from pre-suit negotiations through trial and appeal, and has litigated cases ranging from individual contract disputes to nine-figure class actions. He earned his B.A., cum laude, from Carson-Newman University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law, and is admitted to practice in Florida and Tennessee. The “On the Rise” distinction honors attorneys under 40 who are making significant contributions to their practice areas and communities.
