"Connecticut Journal of International Law Roundtable Talk," University of Connecticut School of Law

On March 24, Day Pitney Partner and Co-Chair of the firm’s Data Privacy, Protection and Litigation Practice, Bill Roberts, was a featured speaker at the Connecticut Journal of International Law Roundtable Talk at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Joined by fellow industry leaders, he explored the legal and geopolitical tensions shaping international cybercrime law during a program featuring a lecture, moderated fireside discussion and audience Q&A.

Attendees gained insight into how competing global regulatory frameworks — including U.S., EU and Eastern approaches — address cross-border cyber operations and evolving doctrines of sovereignty and use of force in cyberspace. The discussion also examined emerging enforcement mechanisms involving states and private actors, as well as the challenges of attribution, state responsibility and multilateral governance in an increasingly interconnected digital landscape.

Bill serves as an Adjunct Professor of Data Privacy Law at the University of Connecticut School of Law.
