Claire Gibson Moderated Brand Enforcement Panel at NYSBA Intellectual Property Section Fall Meeting

Claire Gibson moderated "Beyond the Knockoff: Modern Strategies for Counterfeit and Online Brand Enforcement" at the New York State Bar Association Intellectual Property Section's 2026 Fall Meeting, Fashioning IP 2026: Innovation. Protection. Influence., on September 24 at the Calvin Klein Showroom in New York City.

The panel brought together senior brand protection and enforcement counsel from Calvin Klein, Burberry, and Coty, along with the Chief of the Intellectual Property Enforcement Branch of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, to examine coordinated enforcement strategies involving customs recordation and seizures, online marketplace and social media takedowns, cross-border investigations, and the challenges created by AI-enabled counterfeiting.

Gibson, who focuses her practice on domestic and international trademark prosecution, enforcement, and brand protection strategy, serves as Secretary of the NYSBA Intellectual Property Section's Executive Committee and Co-Chair of the Fall Meeting, which was held during NYSBA's 150th anniversary year.
