
Overview
Catherine Welker represents financial institutions and mortgage loan servicers in complex litigation and advises them on regulatory matters. She defends clients against claims, arising under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). Catherine also advises on statutory and regulatory developments affecting lending, servicing, and financial compliance. In addition, she counsels clients in business disputes claiming breach of contract and fiduciary duty, as well fraud.
Catherine partners with clients to navigate complex statutory and regulatory developments, advises on strategies for discovery and document production, and represents their interests in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and appeals. In her extensive experience in consumer financial services disputes, she has always been focused on resolving clients’ matters and delivering practical, client-focused solutions in high-stakes environments.
