Business Development and Marketing Coordinator
Position Overview:
Day Pitney LLP is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Development and Marketing Coordinator to join our Business Development and Marketing team. The ideal candidate will support the business development team in their efforts to enhance assist attorneys with business opportunities and executing strategic marketing initiatives. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to excel and collaborate across a dynamic team in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist various team members in the development and execution of business development strategies and initiatives for attorneys including:
- Supporting client pitches, proposals, and RFPs
- Assisting with the execution of workflows related to client events, webinars, and other business development activities.
- Preparing, updating, and managing the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and proposals by working with attorneys on content and strategy and acting as a liaison to the marketing technology and design team.
- Managing and scheduling photographers for headshots
- Use marketing technology tools including CRM, email marketing systems, and the firm website to view information, pull reports, make updates, and support other marketing and business development initiatives.
- Work directly with attorneys as needed to leverage firm CRM for marketing and business development opportunities, contact organization and other tasks
- Assist in the coordination of sponsorships, awards and rankings, and other initiatives driven by practices and attorneys.
- Coordinate cross-functional team efforts and manage projects to ensure seamless execution of business development activities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of client events in partnership with the events team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or a related role in a law firm or other professional services organization.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
