Day Pitney Bankruptcy and Restructuring Partner Joshua Cohen was recently featured in Bloomberg, where he discussed the heightened focus on fraud scrutiny and financial transparency in today’s restructuring environment.
As creditors and courts take a closer look at distressed companies, Cohen emphasized the importance of understanding how financial problems develop in order to craft effective solutions. “We always want to know where the money went and how did we get here,” he said. “That informs how we potentially improve it, or change it or fix it.”
