A Connecticut Law Tribune feature article titled, "Get to Know Federal Judge Michael Shea," highlights the Judge's sentiments about his private practice pro bono work at Day Pitney. "It made me a better person and a better judge. It broadens your mind, and that helps you as a judge," stated Judge Shea.
Shea left Day Pitney to take a seat on the federal bench in Connecticut in December 2012.
"As a lawyer, he [Michael] was very bright, perceptive and analytical. He is a team player. He is genuinely a nice person and respectful and a hardworking guy," said James Rotondo, firm partner who worked with Shea during his tenure at the firm.
