Sara van Vliet counsels clients in the area of complex business disputes. Sara has experience with trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts, including putative class actions brought under state and federal securities laws and shareholder derivative actions alleging breach of fiduciary duty. She is also experienced in representing individual and corporate clients in internal investigations and enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Sara served as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Chase T. Rogers of the Connecticut Supreme Court. Prior to joining Day Pitney, Sara practiced in Boston.
