
Brian Thompson assists private clients and high net worth individuals on estates and trusts, estate and gift tax planning, and special needs planning. He also assists them with the complexities of probate, estate and trust administration. Brian carefully guides clients through the estate planning process to help them accomplish their objectives. He also addresses issues related to transferring wealth to the next generation through lifetime planning and post-death administration.
Brian joined Day Pitney through its merger with a well-known boutique South Florida estate planning firm. Before entering private practice, he also served as a law clerk for three years to the judges of the Fifteenth Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Brian has been active in the community. He served as Chairman of the Board of the Delray Beach Athletic Club for almost a decade. He is a past-Chairman of the very successful Delray Business Executives Group, part of the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce. Brian also previously served for 10 years as an advisor to the Phi Delta Theta Florida Atlantic University Chapter Advisory Board and also as the past president of the Phi Delta Theta Palm Beach Alumni Club, serving members in both Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
