Overview

Timothy "Tim" Spiegel counsels entrepreneurs, investors, family offices and other corporate clients in general corporate and finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, corporate formation, corporate governance, and commercial and licensing transactions.

As a Senior Associate at a private equity firm based in Boston, Tim was responsible for underwriting and monitoring private equity and venture capital fund investments and direct venture investments across investment strategies and industries. He also provided operational support of firm investments; reviewing and analyzing investment documents, including term sheets and promissory notes; interacting with investment teams of fund investments and management teams of direct venture investments; and drafting and updating financial models and capitalization tables.

Represented life sciences company in the negotiation of licensing agreement with a nationally recognized university

Represented life sciences company in the negotiation of a term sheet for a pilot program with a European pharmaceutical company

Drafted commercial contracts for venture stage tech company

Provided operational and day-to-day legal services to businesses, including those in the life science, biopharma, e-commerce and tech industries

Represented early state tech company in negotiating a master services agreement with a publicly traded retail company.
