James "Jim" Sicilian, a trial and appellate lawyer, represents private and public businesses in diverse industries in complex commercial disputes. Defended a multinational pharmaceuticals manufacturer against claims for trade secret misappropriation under the "inevitable disclosure" doctrine in connection with alleged use of information obtained during joint venture negotiations
Represented a physician network joint venture in connection with claims brought by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Connecticut Attorney General alleging monopolization of physician and hospital services
Prosecuted claims for violation of the Federal Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act and the Federal Trademark Dilution Act on behalf of a respected catalog mail-order company in its efforts to protect its tradename from Internet piracy
