Overview

Joshua “Josh” Katz represents businesses in complex contractual and other disputes.  He assists clients in many sectors, including energy, construction, manufacturing and healthcare, with disputes concerning contract, fraud and environmental matters, as well as consumer class actions, and disputes under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Josh also assists clients with internal and white-collar investigations.

Josh is actively involved in pro bono matters. He has worked on prisoners’ rights cases, acted as a court-appointed representative of allegedly incapacitated persons in guardianship proceedings, and represented victims of domestic abuse seeking final restraining orders.

Prior to joining Day Pitney, Josh served as a law clerk to the Honorable Peter G. Sheridan of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
