Katherine A. Coba represents individuals and businesses in complex civil and commercial disputes. She has experience litigating contested matters in state and federal courts, on plaintiff and defense sides, including business litigation, employment, real estate, negligence and estate and trust litigation matters.
Katherine has considerable experience defending financial services providers against individual and class claims brought pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). Additionally, she defends mortgage lenders, servicers and other financial services providers against borrower complaints alleging violations of state statutes, wrongful foreclosures and debt collection statutes
