Joshua Caswell counsels successful individuals—including principals of private equity, venture capital and hedge fund firms, SPAC founders, corporate executives, business owners, entrepreneurs and physicians—and their families on a broad range of wealth transfer, income and transfer tax planning strategies, as well as business succession and philanthropic planning. He is a trusted advisor for his clients, and makes it a priority to work collaboratively with their other professional service providers, such as accountants and investment advisors. In doing so, Joshua regularly advises on planning with complex assets, such as fund (private equity, venture capital, hedge fund and SPAC) interests, family business interests, deferred compensation and stock options, and heirloom real estate.
Joshua also counsels clients through all aspects of the estate and trust administration process, and regularly works with trust beneficiaries on modifying, adjusting and adapting existing trusts to improve their tax efficiency and utility.
In addition to helping clients navigate through complex estate planning and administration matters, Joshua is a frequent author and speaker, both locally and nationally, on estate, trust, tax and probate related topics.
