Overview
Jenna Bessette represents individuals and families in the areas of estate and tax planning, guardianships, special needs planning, and probate and trust administration and litigation. She prepares complex estate planning documents, as well as state and federal estate/gift tax returns. Jenna makes regular appearances in Rhode Island and Massachusetts courts and has direct and frequent interactions with clients, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries regarding the estate planning and estate settlement process.
Prior to joining Day Pitney, Jenna practiced trusts and estates at a boutique firm in Providence. During law school, Jenna was a member of the Quinnipiac Law Review and gained practical experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Victor A. Bolden in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Rhode Island Office of the Public Defender.
