Katharin (Kate) M. Unke Smith Elected President of MIReBA
On May 14, Katharin M. Unke Smith was elected to serve as the President of the Massachusetts Insurance and Reinsurance Bar Association (MIReBA) for the 2024-2025 term. She previously served as Vice President and Treasurer.
"I am honored to be elected President of MIReBA. For 15 years, MIReBA has provided its members with opportunities to advance our profession, exchange ideas, and address the issues facing the insurance and reinsurance industries. Over the next year, I look forward to working closely with such a talented group of insurance and reinsurance attorneys and professionals to further MIReBA’s mission.”
MIReBA, founded in 2009, is dedicated to the sharing of ideas to improve the insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution process, while promoting the education and collegiality of the insΩrance and reinsurance bar in Massachusetts and New England.
