Day Pitney Partner Michael Kaufman was featured in a Law360 Pulse Q&A discussing his new position as chair of the firm's Institutional Finance and Commercial Lending group.
In discussing the group, Kaufman said, "There's an inward-facing part of a practice group and an outward-facing part of a practice group. What I want to do is help develop and mentor younger attorneys and also help seasoned attorneys by providing a forum for sharing what we're seeing in the market: developments, challenges and opportunities. Then, from a more outward-facing perspective, being able to take what we've shared internally and pass along that acquired wisdom to our clients so that we can best share what we're seeing in the market and best practices."
