Day Pitney's Return to the Block Party and Bike Drive was featured in the We-Ha.com article, "Day Pitney Provides More Than 100 Bikes and Helmets to Area Children." The article highlights the donation from firm attorneys and staff of approximately 110 bikes to the Boys and Girls Club of Hartford, the Wilson-Gray YMCA and the Salvation Army.
"Day Pitney has a long standing commitment to the communities in which we practice law. Now, more than ever, it is important that business leaders give back to the communities that help make them successful. We are happy that we're able to alleviate some of the financial burden and bring some small piece of joy to local children," said West Hartford resident Kathleen D. Monnes, Day Pitney's Hartford office managing partner and organizer of the firm's bike drive.
