New Jersey Senior Associate Michael Fialkoff was this year's "Honored Hero" for the Liberty State Park Take Steps Walk for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. He was recognized for his many contributions to the foundation. Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at four years old, Fialkoff is honored to be in a position to contribute (and spur others to contribute) to the search for a cure and show other pediatric IBD patients that they are not defined by their illness. He was a keynote speaker for the event and the firm was a sponsor.
The Foundation serves millions of patients annually, and empowers both patients and caregivers through education, support and advocacy programs. It has invested more than $400 million in research toward cures since its inception and it remains laser-focused on reducing time to disease diagnosis and improving disease management. The Foundation continues to lead the way in critically important areas of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research and accelerate novel therapies and innovative products that address unmet patient needs.
This year's Liberty State Park Take Steps Walk is now over, but donations are still being accepted. To help Fialkoff reach his goal of raising $5,000, click here to donate to his team.
