Partners Peter Bilfield and Eliza Fromberg were interviewed by Law360 Pulse for the feature article, "How Day Pitney Attys Guided Client's New Property Fund Deal." The feature details how the team guided a longtime client into a new venture in real estate with the creation of a property fund that required a complicated and unique deal structure.
Bilfield noted that "this was a pretty complicated transaction and fund set up for a relatively small or modest investment in the penultimate property."
"The principals had made multiple real estate investments on their own, but this is the first time that the client was raising capital which would then be invested in a joint venture, which would invest directly in real estate," added Fromberg.
Investment Management Associate Lydia Joo Lee, Tax Partner Stephen Ziobrowski and Tax Senior Associate Justin Hannan were also key members of the transaction team.
