Rich Wasserman has received the Above and Beyond Award from Read to a Child, a read aloud mentoring program, for his extraordinary efforts in support of the organization. Wasserman chairs the Greater Hartford Regional Advisory Board and is a long-time reading volunteer for RTAC, and will be recognized at the organization's annual fundraiser.
Read to a Child's virtual fundraiser will take place on November 19. This event combines the efforts of not only the RTAC's national office, but also the staff from all five RTAC regions - Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami and Greater Hartford. There will be a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting the mentoring program.
