Day Pitney LLP announced today that Tasha K. Dickinson has joined the firm as a partner in the Individual Clients department in its West Palm Beach office. She joins from Jones Foster P.A., where she served as the Private Client Services practice group leader.

Dickinson's practice focuses on sophisticated estate planning and estate/trust administration. She has extensive experience with complex wealth preservation strategies, business succession planning and charitable planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as family offices. In addition, she represents fiduciaries in complicated estate and trust administration matters.

"Tasha has extensive experience providing the full spectrum of trust and estate planning advice to individuals and families of wealth, which will be of immediate value to our clients in Florida and across the country," said Dane Dudley, chair of Day Pitney's Individual Clients department. Dickinson is a Florida Bar Board-Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates Lawyer and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), where she is a member of its Estate Gift Tax and Business Planning Committees. Her professional affiliations also include serving as the ACTEC Liaison and an Executive Council member for The Florida Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. In addition to Florida, Dickinson is admitted to practice law in New York and North Carolina. She received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and her B.A. from the University of North Carolina.

Dickinson has written and lectured extensively on residency planning, an area of focus for Day Pitney and its clients. Earlier this year, the firm launched a domicile and residency series to address the challenges of changing domicile, maintaining multiple residences and statutory residency, and the impact on income and estate taxes, asset protection and estate planning.
