Marie Bertrand Named President-Elect of Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association; Rosendo Garza, Jr. Elected as Secretary
Hartford – April 19, 2017 – The Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association ("CHBA") has named partner Marie C. Bertrand as President-Elect for the 2017-2018 term and named associate Rosendo Garza, Jr. as Secretary. The CHBA works to enhance the visibility of Hispanic lawyers in Connecticut through mentoring, promoting diversity within law firms and by facilitating communication and sharing resources among its members.
Bertrand is a partner in the firm's Real Estate, Environmental and Land Use department. Earlier this year, she was honored by the Connecticut Bar Foundation as a James W. Cooper Fellow.
Garza is an associate in the firm's Complex Commercial Litigation practice.
