Dan Wenner was quoted in an article, "Ex-Christie aides ask for mistrial in Bridgegate case," in The New York Post. In the article, Wenner discusses the Bridgegate trial in which Bridget Anne Kelly and Bill Baroni, two former aids of Governor Chris Christie, stand accused of misusing Port Authority resources to punish a foe of the Governor. On Thursday, the two former aides filed a written request for a mistrial and Bridgegate jurors were sent home as the lawyers convened in a sealed courtroom. "It is highly unusual for a judge to seal a courtroom during a jury trial," said Wenner. "Sealing courtrooms is a serious, serious thing in criminal cases," he said.
