Joseph Fagan Explains the Economic Factors Limiting the LNG Industry in the US in the Houston Chronicle
In an interview with the Houston Chronicle, Day Pitney partner Joseph Fagan discussed how federal regulators are often blamed for roadblocks in the LNG industry, when in reality, economics is the biggest driver. "Even if you took the regulatory issues out of the equation, it takes a long time to build these projects. The contracts can take many months - if not years - to negotiate. And there's only so many buyers willing to purchase LNG from the U.S.," Fagan told the publication.
