Beth Barton and Ailla Wasstrom-Welz discussed how Connecticut property owners can benefit from the recent changes in the rules governing Environmental Land Use Restrictions (ELURs), which were first created in 1994, in an article in the October 4 issue of the Connecticut Law Tribune. They write that a new category of land-use restriction, a Notice of Activity and Use Limitation (NAUL), was also created, effective October 1. NAULs are intended to be "self-implementing" and more easily managed than ELURs, according to the authors.
Day Pitney Real Estate Partner Daniel Diaz Leyva was featured in the Tampa Business Observer's News & Notes section regarding the recent acquisition of a retail center at Tyrone Square Mall in St. Petersburg, FL for $37.8M.
