Law360 Covers Day Pitney Client Acordia's CT Supreme Court Victory
The Connecticut Supreme Court on August 26 overturned an earlier ruling against Acordia Inc. which stated the insurance broker misled consumers with reference to a preferred insurer program. The higher court ruled that fiduciary duty does not cover claims under the Connecticut Unfair Insurance Practices Act. Mitchell Harris represented Acordia in the proceedings. The case was covered by Law360 in an article which can be found here.
