Corporate and Business Law partner Rick Harris was quoted extensively in an April 26 Connecticut Post article on entrepreneurship in the state. Rick says that since the recession new businesses have been started both by those looking for a second career later in life and by younger residents unable to find work in established companies. Noting that the state has recently created an Innovation Ecosystem program to help new businesses, Rick says that, "This is a good time for Connecticut startups." He adds that Day Pitney has seen an influx of interested entrepreneurs, saying, "We want to say in 10 to 20 years, we supported them and they became big companies."
