Asker Saeed, Day Pitney's new Director of Diversity, discussed Day Pitney's commitment to workplace diversity and the firm's goals for the coming years with India New England on December 18. Asker joined the firm this fall, and will develop new diversity initiatives in addition to working with existing programs. He told India New England that, "Diversity is not a minority issue, diversity is an everybody issue. We all win from a more diverse environment and a more diverse work force and that is the way we are going to approach it." Speaking of Day Pitney, he noted that, "Right from the get go, and almost every day since, I am reminded of the fact that this firm cares about diversity and wants to be a leader in the diversity profession and wants to show that every day."
