Day Pitney LLP announced today the election of Christopher M. Rider to partner, effective January 1. Rider, who resides in Day Pitney's New Jersey office, is a member of the firm's Real Estate, Environmental and Land Use department.
"With his growing real estate practice, Chris has made tremendous contributions to our clients and we are very proud of his accomplishments," said Dennis R. LaFiura, chair of Day Pitney's Executive Committee. "We are delighted to name Chris a partner of Day Pitney and we look forward to his many successes in the years to come."
Rider represents developers, lenders, institutional investors and commercial property owners in the structuring, negotiating and closing of various real estate transactions. He also regularly advises clients with respect to joint ventures and the reorganization of real property holdings.
Rider received a J.D. degree, with high honors, from Rutgers University School of Law?- Newark, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He received a B.S. degree, with high honors, from Rutgers College.
