Anthony J. Marchetta, a litigation partner at Day Pitney LLP, has been named a Client Service All-Star for 2011 by the BTI Consulting Group. The annual survey rates the client service performance of U.S. law firms. This year, corporate counsel identified 318 individual lawyers from 201 firms. Mr. Marchetta has received this recognition on several occasions.

LaFiura, chair of Day Pitney's Executive Committee, who has also been recognized by BTI in past surveys. Day Pitney's client service program is a firmwide institutional program that trains all lawyers and staff on the delivery of excellent client service. A number of Day Pitney partners have been recognized by BTI for outstanding client service in the past.
Mr. Marchetta's practice is concentrated in the area of civil trial law, including complex commercial, securities, product liability, patent, insurance, and environmental. He has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts around the country, and has handled all appellate work connected with such trials. Mr. Marchetta has also been involved with several class actions and securities litigations.
BTI conducted more than 300 individual interviews of corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies to help compile the All-Star list. Law firms were not allowed to submit nominations or provide client names.
