Day Pitney to be Honored as a Boston Business Journal Partner of the Year at Corporate Citizenship Summit
Day Pitney has been selected by the Boston Business Journal as one of its Partners of the Year. The firm, which was chosen in the Innovation category for its partnership with the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC), will be recognized at the Business Journal's annual Corporate Citizenship Summit on Sept. 10. The event features an awards celebration honoring the top charitable contributors, and provides tools and information on how to begin or sustain a charitable mission.
Since 2005, Day Pitney lawyers and staff have contributed more than 3400 pro bono hours to EBNHC, equivalent to nearly $1 million in billable time. The firm's involvement with the organization stems from its formation of the Child Health Advocacy Partnership, a cooperative venture with the Medical-Legal Partnership?- Boston, which brings together individuals from the medical and legal professions to provide legal information and advocacy to underprivileged families.
