Corporate Chair David A. Swerdloff Elected President of the Stamford Museum & Nature Center Board of Directors
Day Pitney partner David A. Swerdloff was recently elected president of the Stamford Museum & Nature Center Board of Directors.
Mr. Swerdloff is chair of the Corporate and Business Law department at Day Pitney and has served on the museum's board since 2000 and on its executive committee since 2002. In that time he has served as treasurer and most recently as first vice president. In 2008 Mr. Swerdloff received the Museum's Person of the Year award. Mr. Swerdloff has also volunteered with other community organizations including Senior Services of Stamford, Inc., The Volunteer Center, where he was chair of the Court Advisory Committee, and Teen Life Center. He was recently the chair of the Business Law Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association.
"The Stamford Museum & Nature Center has provided a unique facility to the community for many years, combining a working farm with nature trails, an observatory and a museum that offers family-friendly exhibits," Swerdloff said. "We look forward to helping the museum continue to fulfill its mission."
