The April 9 Legal Brief's column in the Boston Business Journal leads off with news of the arrival of a two-attorney Trusts and Estates team to Day Pitney's Boston office.
The Business Journal reported that attorney Kenneth Grinnell has joined Day Pitney as partner and Dani Ruran has joined as counsel in the 40-attorney Boston office. Day Pitney's trusts and estates practice has a total of about 40 lawyers across all of the firm's offices.
"It became apparent that this was a great opportunity and a good fit," Grinnell said of the move. "Our small trusts and estates group has a strong footprint in this area. I needed depth and breadth to maintain that type of practice."
Grinnell focuses his practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related tax planning. Meanwhile, Ruran focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related tax planning, as well as international tax planning and planning for retirement benefits and higher education expenses.
