Day Pitney real estate litigation attorneys Joy Harmon Sperling and Joshua VandenHengel wrote an article titled "Broker-Drafted Real Estate Contract May Be Terminated by Email or Fax" in the June 2, issue of the New Jersey Law Journal. The article discussed the recent NJ Chancery Court ruling in Conley v. Guerrero, SOM-C-12005-14, which held that a real estate contract may be rescinded by e-mail or fax despite regulations which require an attorney to send a notice disapproving of the real estate contract "by certified mail, by telegram or by delivering it personally."
