VC Experts featured "SEC Makes Fundamental Changes to Private Capital-Raising Rules," written by Eliza Sporn Fromberg, Greg Kahn, Scott Beach and Hank Massey, in its July 31 edition. The attorneys write that final rules issued by the SEC on July 10 allow "issuers, including start-ups, hedge funds, venture capital funds and private equity funds, to promote their offerings to the general public over the Internet, in traditional print and broadcast media, at public seminars, and through other means," and in so doing may affect how many issuers raise funds.
