Elizabeth Barton Writes Connecticut Law Tribune Article on the Need to Put Brownfields Legislation into Action
Elizabeth Barton authored an article outlining the current status of new Connecticut brownfields legislation for the October 3 issue of the Connecticut Law Tribune. Although a new department to oversee brownfield development was created in July, logistical issues have held up the processing of applications. Beth writes that the legislation, which emphasizes increased expediency and protection from liability, has the potential to "give Connecticut's brownfields an edge in the marketplace," and that every effort should be made to move the program ahead.
