On January 28, Day Pitney hosted the New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE) Boston Chapter's Off-Shore Wind Networking Event at the firm's Boston office. Following introductory remarks by Representative Patricia Haddad, Speaker Pro Tempore of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Day Pitney's Lynn Fountain led a lively discussion on the future of off-shore wind in Massachusetts and the New England region. In addition to Representative Haddad and Fountain, the panel included Danielle Jensen of Mayflower Wind; Elisabeth Treseder of Equinor Wind U.S.; and Abby Watson of Siemens Gamesa. Prior to the panel discussion, attendees of the sold-out event enjoyed a networking reception.
Founded in 2008, NEWIEE provides a forum for sharing the expertise and experiences of its members while fostering a dynamic environment for those passionate about energy and environmental issues in the New England region and beyond.
