On November 7, Day Pitney's Women Working Together initiative (WWT) held a fall fashion show and pop-up shop in the firm's Hartford office, where guests had an opportunity to socialize, shop and give back to women in the Hartford community.
After welcome remarks from Central Connecticut WWT co-chair Andraya Pulaski Brunau and Dress for Success Hartford Executive Director Sara Avatapalli, Day Pitney attorneys and staff hit the runway, showing off the latest fall collection from popular designer M.M. LaFleur. Eileen Gillis, showroom manager for M.M. LaFleur in Boston, was on hand to talk about the collection and offer style tips. Following, guests had an opportunity to network over cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and to browse a pop-up shop featuring the latest women's workwear styles from M.M. LaFleur.
Guests donated more than 20 women's professional clothing items to Dress For Success Hartford and the event raised more than $400.00, a portion of the evening's sales, for Dress for Success.
