Warren Whitaker participated in a task force discussion on government policy, focusing on taxing wealth, at the inaugural New York Times DealBook DC Strategy Forum, held at The Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC. The discussion, moderated by New York Times economic and tax policy correspondent Jim Tankersley, concentrated on the best way to tax the wealthy in the U.S. Among the participants on Warren's panel were Grover Norquist, Gene Sperling and Steve Ratner.
Presented by Citi and hosted by DealBook editor at large, columnist and founder Andrew Ross Sorkin, the invitation-only forum gathered leaders from the public and private sector in task force discussions on various topics to explore provocative questions and provide innovative solutions to the nation's top policy agenda challenges.
Findings from the discussions will appear in a special section of The New York Times on September 19.
