Tommy Shi, the firm's director of Diversity & Inclusion, was a panelist at the Women in Leadership Symposium, themed "Center Stage: Standing Out & Speaking Up," presented by the Tri-State Diversity Council and held in New York, NY. Topics discussed included leveraging intersectionality and defeating gender-based harassment in the workplace, gaining mentors and becoming one, defining success, using technology to create work-life integration, and transforming men into allies in the workplace. The focus of this annual event is to bring together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, through the discussion of topics relevant to today's issues will educate, inspire and encourage women to reflect on their own goals and status.
Day Pitney is proud to be a corporate partner of the Tri-State Diversity Council and Shi currently serves on the organization's Board of Directors.
