Glynis Ritchie was a featured speaker at the Special Needs Alliance 2017 Spring Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. Glynis presented on Planning for Wealthy Families with Children with Disabilities. During the presentation, Glynis spoke about gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes with respect to special needs planning. Glynis also discussed the intersection of special needs trusts and irrevocable life insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts and grantor retained annuity trusts. Glynis has been an affiliate associate member of the Special Needs Alliance for the past three years. The Special Needs Alliance is an invitation-only national organization of attorneys dedicated to the practice of disability and public benefits-related estate planning.
