Electronic Information in Criminal Cases

Jed Davis will be a featured panelist in a CLE program titled, "Electronic Information in Criminal Cases," (click on title to register), sponsored by the Data Law Initiative at Cardozo Law School and the New York State Bar's Commercial and Federal Litigation Section. Davis and the other panelists will explore ways in which electronically-stored information has become as important in criminal cases as it is in civil litigation. Topics to be discussed will include electronic information issues involving the Warrant and Particularity requirements of the Fourth Amendment, the third-party doctrine, and corresponding protections under New York State law. The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. 1.5 hours of NY Professional Practice CLE credits are available.
